June of 2010 saw the release of Apple’s long-awaited iPhone 4G. Since that time, Facebook patrons continue to see post after post about who ordered a new iPhone 4G, the cool features, and some of the expected bugs.

The 1G network, the first of its kind, was a product of the 1980s. When the 2G network surfaced in the 1990s, it increased the amount of communication per network channel. 3G, established in the late 1990s, has revolutionized communications across the globe over the last several years, being the first network able to provide multimedia applications. The creation of the 4G network may send communication well on its way to the sci-fi daydreams of transporters and flying cars.

A 4G network is the latest development in the evolution of the communication industry. A 4G network focuses on providing superior service, allowing you to download software, applications and files faster, providing a stronger reception and minimizing dropped calls and information streams.

This is of great benefit as more and more people are constantly on the go – everyone needs direct access to the Internet while on the move. A 4G network available on phone systems allows you to not only access the Internet from virtually anywhere, but in the palm of your hand. Talk about convenience.

Apple isn’t the only company to recently introduce the 4G network on its new iPhone. Sprint released the HTC EVO 4G, Motorola has the Droid X and Samsung has the Galaxy S. Comparatively, Apple may have stronger features, but the other companies offer products that are a little easier on your pocket book.

Regardless of which company you choose to purchase your next high-tech phone through, and even if there are a few bugs, the evolution of communications across the globe continues to cause jaws to drop. Prepare to be amazed.
